BE_MONDO was commissioned to enhance the Relais & Châteaux experience at Manoir Hovey by designing the master plan for the new spa. The goal was to create an immersive and distinctive wellness destination, one that would captivate loyal guests while attracting new visitors seeking rejuvenation.

Set on a steep terrain along the shores of Lake Massawippi, the site presented topographical challenges.

In collaboration with LAMAS Architecture, BE_MONDO orchestrated a seamless and harmonious journey, where every space—from the hammam to the relaxation rooms—opens onto the surrounding nature, fostering a complete sensory immersion.

The thermal experience, like a Nordic ritual, combines warmth, coolness, and relaxation in an indoor-outdoor circuit accessible year-round, offering panoramic views of the lake.

Natural materials such as wood, stone, and rattan, along with elements inspired by the local landscape—like columns evoking tree trunks—strengthen the connection between the spa and its surroundings.

By subtly blending tradition and modernity, BE_MONDO helped make Spa du Manoir Hovey an exceptional place where the elegance of heritage meets innovation in wellness.
