BE_MONDO was commissioned to enhance the Relais & Châteaux experience at Manoir Hovey by designing the master plan for the new spa. The goal was to create an immersive and distinctive wellness destination, one that would captivate loyal guests while attracting new visitors seeking rejuvenation.
LUMAMI
Founded in 2010 by Stéphanie Emond and her team, LUMAMI is the signature restaurant of BALNEA. Nestled at the edge of a forest overlooking a lake, this venue celebrates the nobility of local ingredients, the freshness of seasonal products, and the festive spirit of sharing.
Résidence du Lac Memphrémagog

Located on the shores of the majestic Lake Memphremagog, this private residence was designed for clients deeply inspired by the atmosphere of BALNEA. They commissioned Jean-Sébastien Bourdages, co-founder of BE_MONDO, to envision a home that embodies the harmony between architecture, nature, and well-being.
Lombok EcoVillage
Design Collaboration with SOG design
We imagined on Lombok, Indonesia, with a sustainable, community-focused design inspired by the Alupag fruit. The micro home combines traditional Sasak architecture with modern sustainable practices, harmonizing with the natural landscape. Embracing wabi-sabi, the design integrates aging and imperfection, blending seamlessly with its surroundings.
Wuxi City
Co-Creation: Smith Vigeant Architecture
This “Work in Progress” is a transformative eco-neighborhood in Wuxi that seamlessly integrates modern architecture with nature. Through innovative design and sustainable practices, it fosters a vibrant, human-scaled community. From covered shopping arcades and green embankments to biophilic facades and activated rooftops, every element enhances biodiversity and well-being, creating a dynamic, evolving urban oasis that respects Wuxi’s heritage while embracing future prosperity.
